Taking a cue from AMAA President Heather Rifkin, GCMSA is holding a Book Collection Drive. Please consider donating new and gently used books for distribution to local non-profits and to exchange with other GCMSA members.
 
Books that are brought to General Membership Meetings can be taken by members to enjoy. That’s right! Bring a book, take a book! Books that are not swapped will be donated to Safe Harbor, Pendleton Place, and A Child’s Haven.
 
If you have an idea for an organization that is in need of books, please let us know! We will accept all genres and age levels in very good condition. No textbooks or encyclopedias, please.
 
You may want to set up a book drive at your child’s school or at your church. Books will be collected at the General Membership Meetings on February 9th and on March 16th. Books will also be accepted at the home of Shanna Walker, or we can arrange a pickup for you. All the books that are collected will be sorted at the March 13th Creativity Kits Assembly Day.
